The Association “Magister Educationis” from Neamţ-Romania is a newly created institution for adult training (2013 – HJ1/14.01.2013). Each of the 15 people from the staff of the Association has a great experience in creating, implementing and coordinating European projects, being awarded with high prizes for innovation, as for example European Language Label. The staff is composed of qualified trainers in the fields of languages (English and French), IT, Psychology, Special Pedagogy, Management, Folklore. Among the members, there are experts who will implement the partnership’s special tasks: a Doctor in Folklore, an artistpainter, two specialists in traditional costumes and trainers in traditional arts. The institution was founded to solve a major problem which exists in Neamt Department and in all North-Eastern part of Romania, concerning the lack of alternatives for adult education, the absence of possibilities for adult senior to learn, to continue or to improve their education and instruction. That’s why the creation of an Adult Learning Center is one of major goals of the institution. Neamt department is situated on 16th place in Romania for its high rate of unemployment – 10%. A significant percent of population – around 25% has migrant workers in families. Connected to this social phenomenon,there is a big demand of training courses in languages and initiation in IT among the adults of Neamt department. “Magister Educationis” will create and ensure the accreditation of training courses for adults, with a strong practical component. A major purpose for the Association’s members is to innovate and to create new tools and methods for the courses that will be given to adult learners.By its Statute, “Magister Educationis” will realize projects with cultural, social, formative features, promoting languages and the lifelong learning in national and international partnership. To implement this project and to better spread its activities and products, the Association will create a regional grouping together with major State and private local organizations from the domain of education. It is vital that the new organization starts its activities in this field with this partnership, which creates the best opportunity to valorize the very reach local folkloric inheritance and will also use at full capacity and will improve the trainers skills, creating new ways of learning in an European dimension for the adult trainees.
